Our commitment

Arcade Odyssey is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology such as screen readers, screen magnifiers, voice recognition software, or keyboard-only navigation. We want every visitor to be able to find our hours, location, games, menu, and party information without running into unnecessary barriers.

Standard we target

We work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard most commonly referenced by the U.S. Department of Justice and courts when evaluating website accessibility under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).

What we've done

We've reviewed this website against WCAG 2.1 AA and made a number of improvements, including:

• Adding descriptive text alternatives to images and icon-only links
• Adding a "skip to main content" link for keyboard users
• Improving color contrast throughout the site so text is easier to read
• Adding visible keyboard focus indicators
• Adding descriptive titles to embedded video and map content
• Adding a pause control for auto-playing background video
• Labeling page regions (navigation, main content, footer) for assistive technology

Known limitations

Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time fix. We're aware that some parts of the site — particularly older content and third-party embeds such as maps and video players — may not yet meet every guideline. We're continuing to review and improve the site over time.
